Paul Philippe Cret was principal architect of the Terminal, opened in 1933.

Hey! This place was the subject of a FLC sample animation which shipped with Autodesk Animator Pro, my very first animation program...back in the DOS days...until this moment I had no idea where the building was (they just called it "Union Station").
